My Brother's Wedding

My Brother, Luke, and my new sister, Magdel. What a special day. They got married on a beautiful little citrus farm in the Cape. The ceremony was amazing! Almost every musician Luke and Mags know contributed to making the occasion unique and memorable.

I had the priviledge of singing and playing during the service. Must have looked a bit odd walking down the aisle with the rest of the bridesmaids, then leaving the bridal party and picking up my guitar...Bridesmaid / Rockstar...so versitile! ha ha ha

The reception was a lot of fun. We were surrounded by family, good friends, good food and great wine...a good excuse to party! I sang a surprise song I wrote for them after the speeches, called "Waiting for my life to start."                             

Found this in a cosy little coffee shop in Paarl during the wedding week. I totally buy into this saying :)
